Effective 2026-09-28

This app collects no personal data.
There is no server and the app does not use the network, so what it records is stored on your device and never comes to us.

1. What "collects nothing" means

This is not a promise to refrain from collecting data — there is no path by which data could be collected.

2. What is stored on your device

These are settings and records the app needs in order to work. They are stored on your device and are not sent to us, and we cannot see them.

WhatWhy
Timer settings (durations, repeats, color, sound, notification preferences)So they are there next time
Names you give (sets, Timehold)To show them on screen
Daily record of focused timeTo draw the history (grass)
State of a session in progressSo a session survives closing the app

If you use device backup (iCloud or your Google account) or move to a new device, these values may be copied along. Backups are kept by Apple or Google under your account; we cannot see them.

3. Retention and deletion

The values on your device exist while the app is installed and are deleted from the device when you delete the app. We keep no copy, so we cannot restore them for you. A copy that went into a device backup, however, may come back when you restore a device from that backup — and on Android, also when you reinstall the app.

The only personal data we hold is email you send us, which is deleted after the period in section 7.

4. Permissions

PermissionUsed for
NotificationsTelling you a timer has ended. On Android, also showing the dials on the Lock Screen while a session runs. The app works without it.
Flashlight (Android)Signalling with light while the phone lies face down. Nothing is recorded, and camera access is not requested.
Vibration (Android)Alerts and touch feedback.
Exact alarms (Android)So timers fire at the right moment.

Whether the phone is face down is judged with the motion sensor. Readings are used on the spot and never stored, and no permission is needed.

5. In-app purchases

If you buy Pro, payment is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store card numbers or other payment details. We only read whether a purchase exists, as reported by the store. Apple's and Google's own policies apply to the payment.

6. Advertising

The app shows no ads and collects no advertising identifiers.

7. Email to us

The app collects no personal data, but if you email us, we receive that email. If you don't write to us, nothing comes to us.

What we receiveYour email address, and the name and content in your message
PurposeTo reply to and handle your inquiry
Retention3 years from the day the inquiry is closed, then deleted

If you ask us to delete it, we delete it right away — except records the law requires us to keep, which we keep for the period it sets.

8. Sharing, processors and transfers abroad

We do not share personal data with third parties. Since the app collects none, no processing of it is entrusted to anyone.

Email to us is forwarded and stored by the companies below. Both are in the United States, and messages travel over the network when they are sent and received. They are kept for the period in section 7; if you don't write to us, nothing is transferred.

9. Children

The app may be used at any age, and through the app we collect no personal data from anyone, children included, so the app has no parental-consent process. Children under 14 should email us together with a parent or guardian. If a parent or guardian asks, we delete that child's email right away.

10. Your rights

App records never come to us, so there is nothing of them for us to access, correct or erase. You can remove the records on your device by deleting the app. A copy in a backup is removed when you delete that backup from iCloud or your Google account — on Android, while the backup remains, reinstalling the app may bring the records back.

For email you have sent us, you can ask to access, correct, erase or stop processing it at the contact below.
